This may be the pinnacle of cinematic brilliance. It doesn’t matter that 55% of the film is actually b-roll and modern-day stock footage, its blended perfectly with everything shot in 1979. George Clooney, Laura Dern and Charlie Sheen Headline this glorious film, and shine forth with the brilliance of their Oscar and Golden Globe caliber performances. But, the most powerful performance by far, is Jon Rhys Davies as Quint, uh...I mean Bouchard, the deadly bear hunter, whose vendetta against Grizzlies stems from personal tragedy.
